The Iranian proxies are being pounded. Hezb Allah, the Party of God, is being pummelled by the Zionist threat. What do you do as President of Iran? Well, you give a rousing speech saying that, "The world is on the verge of great developments... Muslims will soon be victorious over their aggressors."

Hezb Allah was formed by Iran in 1982 as a proxy force to wage war against Israel. It is funded and armed by Syria and Iran. Today that force is being punished by Israel.

President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad here Tuesday referring to the crimes of the Zionist regime in the region said that the volcano of the rage of nations facing the tyranny of the arrogant powers is on the verge of eruption.

Speaking at the 8th gathering of the nationwide university and higher institute officials as well as Basiji scientific groups in Mashhad, he said that the present conditions are quite abnormal and the scenario of aggression is about to end. "The Zionists themselves have realized that they have launched a risky move and are aware that the flame of the fury of the regional states will set them ablaze," he added. Stressing that the enemies of Muslim nations are approaching the end of the road and are about to drown, the president said that for this reason they have subjected Muslim nations to their rage and hatred.

"The day on which the regional people will rejoice will definitely come soon and the world is standing on the threshold of great development and the Muslims are expected to overcome their aggressive enemies," said the president Ahmadinejad addressing the Zionist regime as well as their supporters proposed,

"Just as you created such a situation you had better put an end to it yourself." President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad here on Tuesday evening warned bullying powers of the wrath of regional nations. Addressing a local seminar attended by several university professors and thinkers in this northeastern provincial capital, he said bullying powers will soon burn in the fire of regional nations' wrath and the scenario of oppressors is coming to end.

The world is on the verge of great developments, he said, adding that world Muslims will soon be victorious over their aggressors. As to the current situation in Palestinian territories, the Iranian president called for a free and fair election for Palestinians through which they may determine their own fate. He denounced the Zionist regime for its dreadful crimes in the region on the pretext of obtaining release of two of its captured soldiers, adding that the current Israeli offensive has been pre-planned. Is this bravado or religious belief? "...the enemies of Muslim nations are approaching the end of the road and are about to drown."

Iran wants nuclear weapons in order to destroy Israel. They don't have to actually use them in order to destroy Israel, they just need to have them in order to be able to threaten to use them. Then of course there is the religious component. The belief that this is the end times when the 12th Imam will be revealed and Israel will be wiped off the map and the whole world will be made to accept Islam. But right now one thing stands in the way... Israel. The Zionist threat.
