Is
hegemony really such a bad thing? (Hereafter known as
the H-word, and expressed by the patent pending symbol: [H] ) I think not. In fact I think that
hegemony is precisely what is needed right now at this point in history. And the nation I would prefer to hold this hegemonic power is the United States of America.
There is a realignment of power and alliance happening right now. A realignment that often precedes massive social change. Wouldn't it be better if that change were managed somewhat by the hegemonic influence of a mostly benevolent nation rather than an axis of evil or semi-evil regimes?
