Chavez visits with Ahmedinejad

Chavez is in Tehran today meeting with Iranian President Ahmadinajad. They pledged mutual support and brotherhood... as well as being "trenchmates" in the war against America.

More important details include Chavez claiming they will eventually be an arms producing nation and export arms to the nations in Central and South America. Surely this is good news for the foes of capitalism and the United States? He also met with the Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

Wars for hegemony and oil

The argument that Bush planned the Iraq war before becoming pResident is nothing more than recycled anti-war propaganda. Or else it is quite a coincidence that they made the same argument during the first Gulf war as well.

When Democratic Congressman John Conyers cites the 'fake but accurate' Downing Street Memo to say that Bush pre-planned the Iraq war and lied about WMD, he is using the same argument made many times before by the same people who are making them now.

Crimes against peace?

To impeach or not to impeach, that is the question.

That is, it would be the question if Democrats were somehow able to 'seize power' in November-- If that were to happen, (a big if), the impeachment of George W. Bush is more likely than not. Also, that is, if Karl Rove's patented right-wing mind grip somehow fails to sway the gullible masses.

Howard Dean, the Chairman of the Democratic Party, yesterday said that Kathrine Harris was like Stalin for daring to certify the vote count in Florida in 2000. He also called the Iraqi Prime Minister an anti-semite.

You have to admit that they picked the perfect person to represent and lead the Democratic Party. Just bringing people together left and right.

Apparently framing Israel

Ah, a look inside Kofi Annan's head-- of course Israel deliberately targeted the UN. If I were Kofi I'd be suspicious too. Especially if I apparently created the situation to begin with.

It appears that it wasn't just Hezballah who is willing to use UN troops as human sheilds against Israel. The facts seem to indicate either great ignorance or willful malignance on the part of Kofi Annan as well.

Bush's Articles of Impeachment

Here's something entertaining. Articles of impeachment for Bush drawn up by Ramsey Clark.

This provides us with one of those logical paradox's that you can use to defeat an evil robot overlord. Since Ramsey Clark has volunteered to defend virtually every dictator charged with war crimes in the last few decades, no matter how many people they've killed, and since Bush is supposed to be just this sort of dictator in Clark's mind, can he, in fact-- musn't he, volunteer to defend Bush if he were in fact charged with war crimes? Even if it would certainly have been as a result of the tireless work of Clark to get him tried as a war criminal?
